At this time, OverDrive Media files cannot be used on iPods or Mac computers.

Our media titles, provided by OverDrive, Inc., use DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection technology from Microsoft Corporation. Unfortunately the iPod (and Mac) currently support neither DRM-protected Windows Media Audio (.wma) files nor Windows Media Video (.wmv) files.

OverDrive announced in March 2008 that it will expand its catalog of downloadable audiobooks to include titles in MP3 format without DRM. OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks will be compatible with nearly every MP3 player and mobile phone on the market including iPod, Zune, iPhone, and Creative Labs products. OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks will be available to libraries in Summer 2008.
